Our mission at the Broken Wagon Ranch House is to provide a safe, clean, comfortable and enjoyable getaway for hurting young families, whether it be to refresh, heal, or grieve after the loss of a family member, or to make treasured memories together as a family, while they still have one another.

We understand that most young families who have lost a child (or one of the young parents) cannot afford to pay to get away after they have endured funeral expenses and medical bills.  We also know that young families who have a seriously ill or severely injured child (or if one of the young parents are) are in the same boat financially and emotionally.  During these most difficult times that life has to offer, time and space are needed to get away, spend time with God, enjoy His creation, and just be renewed physically, emotionally and spiritually.  Sometimes, we all need someone to talk to and to help carry our burdens.  Our Goal at the Broken Wagon Ranch House is to provide that place and those opportunities!

Glenn and Lisa Crumpler have over 30 years' experience in International Christian Missionary Work, Pastoral Ministry, Children/Youth Ministry and Christian Education.  Glenn is also a retired U.S. Army Officer and a lifelong Cattleman.   These years of experience in ministering to hurting children and families led to the construction of the Broken Wagon Ranch House.  The Crumplers have a passion for sharing the love and the Good News of Jesus Christ with the lost and the suffering both here at home and around the world.  In 2001, they founded Cattle For Christ International, the 'umbrella' ministry of the Broken Wagon Ranch House.

The Broken Wagon name was inspired by the fact that we all have brokenness in our lives somewhere.  If we don't see it now, we will at some point.  Also, we have to come to God through faith in Christ and broken over our sin and bad choices.  When we give ourselves and our brokenness to Him, He will forgive us, rebuild us, heal our brokenness and make us whole again.

All the families that come to the Ranch House will be broken over the loss, hurt and/or fear for those they love the most.  Our mission is to minister to their brokenness, point them to the Master Builder who can make them whole again, and provide them with experiences and memories that they will treasure for the rest of their lives.
